Working with Gates

You can add a gate to any opening that can fit a gate.

How to add a Gate

1. To put a gate in the middle of a railing, you'll first need to remove the railing section there.
   • Click on a section of railing
   • In the right panel, choose Delete Section
   • Update the opening dimension to the correct measurement
2. To put a gate at the top of a set of stairs, you'll first need to make sure the stair width is correct.
   • Check the dimension at the base of the stairs is correct.
3. Look at the bottom right side of the drawing and choose the Add Gate button
4. The places where you can place the gate will show in green. Click on the green spot where you'd like to put the gate.
   • If there aren't any green spots, double check your dimensions. The green spots will only show in spots where a gate will fit correctly.

How to remove a Gate

1. Click on the gate to remove
2. Press the Delete Gate button
